Flex Learning is an organization in the business of behavior analytic treatment that focuses on working with children, adolescents, and young adults who are diagnosed with, but not limited to, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disability, Down Syndrome, Angelman Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and Epilepsy. Our story for Flex Learning began a few years ago: while working in the field of behavior analysis, it became apparent that there were two major areas of concern: 1) challenges with the families receiving behavior analytic treatment and 2) challenges with those working in the field; therefore, the idea was born to attempt to create an environment that could focus on enhancing the two.

On one end of the vision is the support that is provided to the caregivers who are seeking the service. What Flex Learning is aiming to do is to include a collaborative environment to maximize the time spent teaching those in the person’s environment. Furthermore, our goal is to foster an environment that seeks to produce positive outcomes in an efficient manner. Flex Learning focuses on taking a client/family's values and using them as a guide to make positive changes in behavior. We are predicated on the idea that through present moment awareness and compassion, we can acquire skills that will make us successful human beings.

On the other end of the vision is that regarding staff training. The primary focus within Flex Learning’s staff training model is to establish a learning environment that sparks continuous engagement and curiosity. Only by learning can we continue to grow and support the families who we are lucky enough to be a part of.
